The Color fast pigmenting and graining gives Dek-king an authentic look. Combine this with the fact that each strip actually includes its
own caulking edge and tongue and groove ends, the end result will look like something laid by a traditional craftsman. our PVC based decking material will give an appearance that it is almost indistinguishable from real teak, but with the benefits of modern technology.
Dek-King will continue to look like newly installed teak decking year after after most teak decks have faded and split. Our synthetic teak is
non porous which means that water, oil, and dirt does not penetrate the material. Our teak-effect material requires no oiling, varnishing, sanding or
scraping. Cleaning is simple just use soap and water. Unlike teak it also can be pressure washed. We are confident that our composite decking planks are the market leading alternative to wooden decking on boats which can be applied to almost any surface, including GRP, metals and timber. Compared with teak decking, Dek king is a cheaper wood decking alternative, weighs less, has lower maintenance and is quicker and easier to install. It is colored throughout it's thickness so it will not fade, and has impressive non slip and sound dampening properties, even more than the typical painted non-slip or real teak decking. It is resistant to stains and dents and is virtually maintenance free. It can be cleaned by jet pressure or power washed. Just some soap and water will do the trick.
The material we use is UV stabilized and is colored throughout its thickness and it will retain its classic appearance for many years. Our product has been tested in some of the warmest places on earth. Around 6 years ago we installed our product on a number of house boats in Dubai. In 2006 our product was installed on a number of water Taxis in Dubai. 7 years ago we installed our Dek-king on a houseboat in India.
We have also been supplying our material to shipyards for installation on cruise liners and super yachts.

International orders welcome. All applicable customs, duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
We gladly accept orders from all around the globe. Available product lines, shipping rates and fees may vary depending on the delivery address for your order. Below pl[ease find a some guidelines for international orders:
Shipping Information
We always shop around for the best possible rates for international shipments. We normally ship with Maltapost, TNT Courier, Airefreight and also a groupage by Seafreight. Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight, size of packaging and destination. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels. We will ship to an address provided you supply complete address information including a telephone number and the address can be verified (to deter credit card fraud and identity theft).
Unfortunately we do not ship to PO Boxe addresses. For more information, please contact us.
TNT and Maltapost parcel post are our preferred international shipping companies. TNT & Maltapost shipments can be reliably tracked online.
Oversized items that don’t fit Parcel Services standards will be shipped via an International freight forwarder via Door-to-Airport or Door-to-Door service, depending on your location. We will contact you with a freight quote.
If an order is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, Teakforboats.com reserves the right to retain the original shipping/handling fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable packages or merchandise to us.

Answer: The first step is to visit our Synthetic Decking Products Page and select the items required. After receiving your enquiry, we go through the items selected and make sure you have enough material to cover the area required. If we think that you need to change anyting, we will contact you and offer you our advice. When we confirm which items are required, we will work out for you the size and weight of the shipment and contact our shipper to get a shipping quote for you. As soon as we receive the quote, we will forward it to you. The shipping quote will include all necessary details including estimated delivery times.
Question: Which payment options do you accept?
Answer: We accept Bank to Bank transfer and Paypal Payments in advance, although Paypal payments will incure an additional charge to cover our paypal fees.
Question: You are so far away how can we trust you?

Answer: DEK-KING® is a maintenance free decking product. Marks can be cleaned off using hot soapy water or by a high pressure washer. Never use ACETONE or THINNER as these will melt the product and spoil the looks. Scratches can be removed by light sanding with 40, or 60 grit sandpaper.

Composite decking is a manufactured decking product. It is made from a combination of recycled plastic and non-virgin wood materials or wood products such as ground sawdust and one of several polymers—polyethylene (low-density or high-density), polyvinyl chloride and polypropylene. Additives that stabilize the plastic and protect it from damaging UV rays are also found in the material.
This is a combination of additives, bonding agents, pigments and stabilisers to create a product that looks just like real wood but that is much lower in maintenance and that is able to stand up to even the toughest of conditions. Typically, it has a longer lifespan than natural wood decking.

Our extrusions are made out of composite materials ( PVC ) and can be installed on almost any surface including fiberglass, GRP, Steel boats, Cement and Wood. It has excellent non-slip properties, even when wet and can be even power washed. Our material has the best bottom design in the market. The inverted 'T' deisgn bottom ensures the best possible adherance to any deck. Compare it with other materials and you will immediately see that that bottom adhesive will enter our profiles in a way that once it cures it will be very hard to come lose.
In the early stages of development of our PVC decking, our engineers found that profiles with a thickness of 4mm is too thin and all bumps on any deck will show. They also found out that a profile which is 6mm thick, will make your boat heavier. So we all agreed the we should create a profile which is 5mm in thickness which the best decking option for boaters. We alsomade sure that you will have enough material in case you wish to sand your deck after a couple of years or in case you have scratches which you want to remove. Yes, our material is sandable !

Kiteboards for the 2016 Olympics in Rio
In one of the biggest reorganisation of Olympic classes in years, Kiteboards will replace windsurfers in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. The men's keelboat, the Star which has been in the Olympics in all bar one Games since 1932 is also to be dropped for the 2016 Games as is the women's match racing keelboat the Elliott 6m which will have made just one Olympic appearance since its introduction after the Beijing Games in 2008.
The news will come as a surprise to many in sailing who, while acknowledging the rise in popularity of kiteboarding, will question whether the sport has sufficient competition background.
"The introduction of Kiteboarding, while an exciting prospect for a new discipline, the decision to replace windsurfing with Kiteboarding will of course be a huge blow to the windsurfing community, and we're disappointed for all those who are working at the coalface of the RYA's windsurfing programmes to deliver activity and British success on the world stage who will be affected most by this decision," said John Derbyshire, RYA Racing Manager and Performance Director, who was present at the ISAF mid-year meetings where the votes took place.
"Kiteboarding made a solid case for its Olympic inclusion at the March trials," he continued, "and although a surprise that ISAF has voted it into the Olympic programme at this stage, it appears that the Council of ISAF wished to seize the opportunity, rather than wait until 2020."

The ISAF Council voted that Kiteboarding will replace Windsurfing for the men's and women's board events and confirmed the equipment that will be used for the Women's Skiff and Mixed Multihull Events.
The Mackay FX, referred to as the 49er FX, was selected yesterday as the two person women's skiff and today the Nacra 17 joins the Olympic equipment family after being selected for the two person mixed multihull event.
The 49er FX received the majority of votes from the ISAF Council in the first round after the six evaluation trial entries were narrowed down to just three; the 29erXX, the RS900 and the 49er FX.
There was an equally animated debate on the final morning of the Council meeting at this year's ISAF Mid-Year Meeting to decide the equipment to be selected for the mixed multihull event. After discussing the recommendations from the Evaluation Panel, the Equipment Committee and the Events Committee, Council voted between the Nacra 17 and the Viper with the Nacra 17 securing the majority.
The final discussion on the events and equipment for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition was about the men's and women's board events with Council voting in favour or kiteboarding.
In November 2011 an evaluation group was appointed to examine kiteboarding formats with the board events for Rio 2016 defined as ‘windsurfing and/or kiteboarding'. The Evaluation Group recommended that kiteboarding be included in the ISAF Event family including the ISAF Sailing World Cup and the ISAF Sailing World Championships but Council went one step further and selected kiteboarding for the Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition

INTRODUCTION
DEK-KING® est l'alternative idéale aux revêtement de pont en teck et peut être posé aussi bien par un amateur que par un professionnel. Si le principe de mise en œuvre n'est pas très compliqué, la pose requiert de la minutie et le respect des conseils que vous trouverez dans ce guide.
La méthode consiste à assembler des lattes entre elles par collage pour constituer un panneau continu ou une partie de panneau (dans le cas de surfaces importantes) qui sera collé sur le bateau. Les finitions telles que les entourages, les fougères seront ajustés et collés dans un deuxième temps.
Le matériau utilisé pour la fabrication des lattes de DEK-KING® est un PVC stabilisé UV spécifiquement conçu pour résister aux variations climatiques. La pigmentation, l'effet rainuré rappelant les nervures du bois ainsi que son joint de calfatage intégré confèrent aux lattes DEK-KING® une ressemblance frappante au traditionnel pont en teck.
PROFILS
Une gamme de profils (voir liste en annexe) permet de répondre à la quasi-totalité des besoins en facilitant le travail de pose. Dans certains cas, il sera nécessaire de découper les éléments sur mesure dans un profil large (arrondis, formes complexes). Le dessus des lattes a été traité pour offrir une surface antidérapante avec une texture et un aspect proches du bois. Le dessous des lattes, dépoli au "Scotch Brite" de sorte à améliorer l'adhérence de la colle, combiné au système de rainures en T, permet une excellente accroche mécanique sur le support.
Longueurs des lattes 2,25m ou 10m Densité : environs 6 kg / m² Nous utilisons deux types de colles :
Stelmax (6) : colle PVC permettant de coller les lattes de DEK-KING entre elles avec le système de rainure-languette. La Stelmax est présentée en tube de 135ml et possède une canule permettant de déposer un fin cordon sur la languette afin de réaliser le collage. Un tube permet d'assembler environs 2m² de lattes.
Seatalk 750 (3) (ou Simson 7003) est un mastic-colle MS-Polymère très performant permettant un collage très efficace et durable des lattes de Dek-King sur votre support, qu'il s'agisse de polyester, gelcoat, bois, béton, aluminium…. La Seatalk 750 (ou Simson 7003) est disponible en saucisse de 600ml (permettant de coller environ 1m² de DEK-KING®) ou en cartouches de 290ml (permettant de coller environ 0,40m² de DEK-KING®). Elle doit être appliquée à une température ambiante minimum de 8°c. Après application elle commence à adhérer au bout de 4h, offre une bonne accroche à partir de 12h à 24h, et est parfaitement sèche en 2 à 3 jours. Cette colle permet également de réaliser les joints de finitions et de contours. Attention, délai de péremption : 12 mois.
