We can say that in a way that Synthetic teak Decking used on boats is upgraded wood decking as fiberglass was for wooden boats. The boat decking material we offer is designed and manufactured with minimal maintenance in mind. DEK-KING boat flooring material will look and feel just like high quality natural teak flooring. The colour is as natural as timber, and uniform throughout in thickness. The graining is indistinguishable from its traditional wood forerunner and features benefits unmatched by traditional wood. Our alternative teak decking profiles are fully UV stabilized and does not crack, rot,  gray or dent and requires no oiling, staining, varnishing or scraping. It is virtually maintenance free.  DEK-KING Synthetic teak decking requires no constant maintenance.

Our extrusions are made out of composite materials ( PVC ) and can be installed on almost any surface including fiberglass, GRP, Steel boats, Cement and Wood. It has excellent non-slip properties, even when wet and can be even power washed. Our material has the best bottom design in the market. The inverted 'T' deisgn bottom ensures the best possible adherance to any deck. Compare it with other materials and you will immediately see that that bottom adhesive will enter our profiles in a way that once it cures it will be very hard to come lose.

In the early stages of development of  our PVC decking, our engineers found that profiles with a thickness of 4mm is too thin and all bumps on any deck will show. They also found out that a profile which is 6mm thick, will make your boat heavier. So we all agreed the we should create a profile which is 5mm in thickness which the best decking option for boaters. We alsomade sure that you will have enough material in case you wish to sand your deck after a couple of years or in case you have scratches which you want to remove. Yes, our material is sandable !


Unlike other artificial decking materials, our teak flooring for boats does not have the "hairy" look and feel.  instead it looks and feels just like real teak. Our decking material has UV inhibitors and non migrating platicizers which holds up to sun and marine environments year after year. It will not lose its good looks to the harsh conditions and sunlight.  It even passed the harsh heat tests in Dubai, installed on water taxis over 8 years ago and even in India, installed on boat houses.
