Boat Decking Dek-King® is an excellent Teak decking alternative to the traditional wooden decking we all know and love. But that’s half the problem, wood needs a lot of love, care and attention, year on year ? The Color fast pigmenting and graining gives Dek-king an authentic look. Combine this with the fact that each strip actually includes its own caulking edge and tongue and groove ends, the end result will look like something laid by a traditional craftsman. our PVC based decking material will give an appearance that it is almost indistinguishable from real teak, but with the benefits of modern technology. Dek-King will continue to look like newly installed teak decking year after after most teak decks have faded and split. Our synthetic teak is non porous which means that water, oil, and dirt does not penetrate the material. Our teak-effect material requires no oiling, varnishing, sanding or scraping. Cleaning is simple just use soap and water. Unlike teak it also can be pressure washed. We are confident that our composite decking planks are the market leading alternative to wooden decking on boats which can be applied to almost any surface, including GRP, metals and timber. Compared with teak decking, Dek king is a cheaper wood decking alternative, weighs less, has lower maintenance and is quicker and easier to install. It is colored throughout it's thickness so it will not fade, and has impressive non slip and sound dampening properties, even more than the typical painted non-slip or real teak decking. It is resistant to stains and dents and is virtually maintenance free. It can be cleaned by jet pressure or power washed. Just some soap and water will do the trick. The material we use is UV stabilized and is colored throughout its thickness and it will retain its classic appearance for many years. Our product has been tested in some of the warmest places on earth. Around 6 years ago we installed our product on a number of house boats in Dubai. In 2006 our product was installed on a number of water Taxis in Dubai. 7 years ago we installed our Dek-king on a houseboat in India. We have also been supplying our material to shipyards for installation on cruise liners and super yachts.

Dek-King è un materiale tecnologico, nato da accurate ricerche sui nuovi materiali alternativi per ovviare ai problemi tipici del Teak. Un'innovazione per cambiare il concetto del progettare e vivere la barca.
Dek-King non si scolorisce ed è studiato per resistere indenne all’effetto dei raggi ultravioletti generalmente così dannosi per le tradizionali coperte.

Da non mettere in secondo piano, l’utilizzo di questo materiale è altamente ecologico in quanto derivato palstico e frutto di studi su resine sintetiche ad alta resistenza. Il prodotto è vincente sul piano della resistenza e della manutenzione; praticamente un rivestimento che risente in modo minimo delle alterazioni climatiche e delle intemperie. La manutenzione inoltre è molto limitata rispetto ad un materiale naturale classico.

La sua flessibilità, la possibilità di utilizzare attrezzature specifiche per il taglio e la facilità di posa rendono Dek-King imbattibile sul piano della flessibilità d’uso. Raccordi con finitutìre di prima qualità, la possibilità di abbracciare strutture complesse ne rendono un utilizzo quasi indispensabile per la realizzazione di strutture dal particolare design come ad esempio piscine.

Il brevetto di giunzione maschio-femmina ed il comento incorporato, grazie alla produzione mediante sistema di estrusione combinato, consente un assemblaggio veloce con una drastica riduzione dei tempi di lavoro rispetto al legno o ad altri prodotti sintetici e permette così una consistente riduzione dei costi.

Il sistema d’aggrappaggio a coda di rondine con pre-trattamento Scotch Brite permette un'adesione meccanica che potenzia quella chimica fornita dai collanti semplificando le tradizionali procedure di incollaggio ma garantendo un aggrappaggio molto tenace alla superficie di posa.
